initially connected via facebook as he was promoting a masonry/concrete pouring business - he came to my home and provided an estimate to pour an expansion to my existing patio. we agreed to a price and an initial own payment was paid via venmo through his girlfriend as 'his girl handles the money for his business'. he emailed me a receipt/invoice etc - due to weather, the initial start was delayed until i was conveniently out of town. he started on May 10th and poured a small portion - my dad had stop by that night saying 'it looked rough but i'd have to see for myself'. the guy never showed the next day, no call, no notice. after multiple texts to him and his gf - she 'claims' they broke up and he moved out; she can't reach him. He now claims he had emergency shoulder surgery and he'd be issuing full and/partial refunds within 30 days - that was as of 05/14. He wouldn't tell me how much i could expect or when i could expect it.

I got home on May 16th - to his tools all over my patio; they're current stored in the garage - i've reached out multiple times to him requesting he meet me at the Noblesville PD so i can return the equipment and he can issue the refund - i've not heard from him to date. I've contacted the Noblesville PD as well. he's vanished into thin air.
