I received a call on 1/26 prior to hearing the "can you hear me" scam on the news. I do not recall whether the caller asked me this but she did say something about having a bad connection. I also do not recall whether I actually answered with "yes" but I did say something because then she continued on with her spiel. I tried to interrupt her by saying she had the wrong number but she kept going on which at that point I realized it was an automated message. I hung up. I tried to call the number today (1/31) and got the message that it had been disconnected.
