This morning (3/6/17) I received a call from Ms. Paz Garcia (from Collection DH, Ph.7864015071) and everything I am relating comes from her. Briefly, she said that back in 2014 I had order, over the phone, a two part package from Bio Life (Ph. 7864015509) (a slimming belt and some creams) which I had not paid in full. BIO Life was claiming that I paid for the first part when I placed the order and had agreed to pay in cash or money order.for the second part upon delivery. BIO Life was also claiming I had broken the purchase agreement because I was not home to receive the second part of the package. According to BIO Life, after several attempts to reach me, the file was turned over to Ms. Garcia from Collection DH. She had the purchase information as well as my full name, mobile number, and address. I recalled having purchased some slimming belt some time back but definitely nothing about a two part deal. When I mentioned I could not have agreed to something like that, Ms. Garcia started to talk about all those ugly sale practices to get you to agree to something you don't want and to record it to use it in court. She then told me it was my choice, go to court and pay the $2000.00 BIO Life was claiming plus court costs or I could settle with BIO Life for $750.00. If I did not settle, I would receive an order to appear in court, etc. etc. If I settled, the shipping department would contact me within 5 minutes to verify the shipping order, BIO Life would resend the part of the order that I missed, I would give the UPS man a money order payable to BIO, I would call Ms. Garcia to relate some information from the package and money order, and that was it. I said no settlement, but Google did not help when I searched the companies for scams, so I changed my mind and called Ms. Garcia just in time to avoid the law suit. Got the call from shipping (Ph. 3054211389 but they said I could reach them at 18002972012) which was interrupted when I demanded information about the original purchase. I got a second call from Ms. Garcia and one more from shipping, they are hoping to get my $750. Thank God, I found the slimming belt I did purchased. It came from HotShapers, I called their customer service and they told me it was a scam that had been reported by other people.
