A man called ‘Frank Cramer' from College Prep. He had all of my daughter's information and told us he was sending out SAT study material and Zip drives which were free, but he needed a deposit if they were not returned. That is when he said the money needed would be $250.00

Claimed my child requested SAT study materials. Wanted a deposit.

Caller stated to be part of college board and stated my daughter requested SAT study guides. Confirmed mailing address and stated they would send study materials and needed my credit card to place a hold on it until cds were returned.

Got a call on my cell phone from a woman claiming to be from College Board. Said my daughter checked a box requesting study materials. She gave me my daughter’s name and our address. Then asked for a credit card for a “reversible charge” to place on it. When I said I would not do that over the phone, she hung up.

Received a call from this number to verify few details as my son has requested for SAT/ACT material.

I received a call stating it was college board and my son had requested sat prep materials. They asked for a cc to place a hold for the prep materials which would be lifted once the materials were returned.

Caller said he was calling to confirm address and parent's commitment to recieve and return 2 CDs with stidy materials for the SAT test, requested by student. The caller had my phone #, address, and student's name. Caller wanted Credit Card number incase CDs were not returned in 30 days. Fee of $230.

A woman named Jaime called me on my cell using the phone #856-209-6384. She claimed to be from College Support and said that my son (she knew his name and school) had requested study guides for the ACT and SATs. I let her continue telling me how they were mailing them and she already had my address.

Jaime then said that she just needed my debit or credit card number to complete the transaction and that no charges would be put on my card. They only needed it in case my son did not return the cd's. I told her I was not comfortable giving her that information since she called me and I needed to verify that this was legitimate. She gave me a website of college_support.org and a number to call back of 1-877-483-1772.

I spoke with my son and he confirmed my suspicions that he never asked for anything. I did not try the phone number or website.

Caller requesting refundable deposit for SAT prep material about $200 to send them.
