Scammers name is DIMETRI VINSON, Phone # 216-904-5979. He claimed he works as a contractor for Columbia gas of Ohio and the Illuminating company. His company badge stated he worked for Utility Gas & Power Badge ID #60013. He stated he came to my home to lower my utility rates on behalf of the prior mentioned companies. He was wearing a yellow utility vest and had a clipboard in his hands. He asked to see my utility bills to confirm my ID and get the necessary information from the bill to complete the transaction. He said I would receive a text message on my phone. I received the text from phone # 844-947-0447 with a link to their site https://app.tpv360.com/sign/c/NTQ4NzEx. I clicked on the link at his direction and followed all his instructions. I then reveived a phone call from the same phone number. The person who called asked me a list of questions which Dimetri had all written down in typed format with the answer YES to each. He said I need to place the phone on speaker mode so he could hear it. When the rep asked me if I was being coached by anyone Dimetri placed my phone on mute and stated I say No or he would kick my (BBB Staff Redacted). I complied to avoid being harmed and answered all the questions as he demanded. After he left I searched his company US&P online and found it to be a scam. I then called the police to report him.
