Paid $700 and after that they would not answer the phone. They also tried to get another $1500 from me for a “refundable delivery insurance”. It’s a scam... A police report was filed.

We were hoping to purchase a Maine [censored] kitten. We found a Coly Cattery online and corresponded many times with the so called breeder. We found her to be very responsive and her website looked believable. We picked out a kitten... paid the $800 through Zelle pay and signed a contract which included shipping the kitten to our home. The day of shipping we were told by a sketchy shipping company called Snap Shipping that the kitten would not be shipped until we paid an additional $1500 for insurance. We called the breeder and she was very defensive and said it was our responsibility to pay that. The shipping company wanted the payment through Zelle pay again. We asked to see a picture of the kitten at their facility and they refused. Meanwhile our son in law researched on Scamion and saw many similar complaints of scams from these people. So, we are out $800 and have no kitten. Please help all of us catch these horrible dishonest people!
