[email protected] Reports & Reviews (1)

- Columbus, OH, USA

I received an email from someone posing as "USPS Shipment" (actual email address: [email protected]) with subject "[my name] Manage your shipment!"

The email body included the USPS logo and the message:

"Dear [name],

"The USPS package has arrived at the warehouse and cannot be delivered due to incomplete address information.

"To submit a redelivery request for this package please fill out the form in our website.

[Schedule Redelivery button]"

I unthinkingly clicked the link since I happened to be expecting a USPS delivery. I was requested to enter not only my mailing address but also credit card information to pay an alleged $1.99 fee for the redelivery.

(N.B. The scammer did not provide a phone number. I was forced to enter a phone number in order to advance the form and an earlier page.)
