I tried to order products from the online retailer using a credit card. However, their website gave me an error message stating my banks "risk control department" intercepted the transaction and my order could not be completed. After attempting to successfully purchase the retailers products with a different credit card and receiving the same error message, I decided to email their customer service department to inquire the reason behind the error messages.

I was a bit suspicious about the website especially after doing a bit of research.. Including locating and emailing the official retailers of the product I attempted to buy and asking them if the company in which i attempted to order products from is an official retailer of their products. Here's the link to the official retailers web page: http://www.commonprojects.com . They confirmed that the online retailer i attempted to order from is a scam site and NOT an official retailer of Common Project merchandise. The sales team member from the official company also stated that the website i attempted to order from is selling fake common project merchandise.

The fraudulent company responded to my inquiry today and requested that I make a PayPal payment instead of using a credit card. I fortunately made no additional payment to the fraudulent company and canceled the credit cards used to "try" to order fake products.
