I was looking for loans online on Lending Tree. I got a call from Henry James, sounded Arabic, from Community Choice Financial yesterday. He said I was approved for a loan up to $8000. He said $148 would be taken out of my account every two weeks to pay on the debt. I was instructed to buy a $100 eBay card from Walgreens & take a picture of the numbers on the back & send it to 614-321-7699. Henry told me that if the clerk asks why I'm buying the card, to tell her that it's for personal use. I have not been contacted by anyone since. Funds were taken off the card. Then he came back to to get more money saying: "Sir, It's my word, once you arrange $75 from your side, we will transfer $5250 to your account from the direct line funding department." I have all the information, receipts everything. I borrowed that money to pay him. I had to call my cousin to have dinner at her house. What can I do to get my money back? He took my last dime.

The phone numbers used are: 614-333-6643 and 770-708-7321. The caller identified himself as John Morris and advised me that I qualified for a loan up to $10,000 with 55 months to pay at $200 per month. He requested bank information for which he already but then asked for my pin, which I would not provide. When I pressed on for more information about the company, he asked me "Can you s*** my d***?" and I responded by saying "S*** it yourself" then I hung up. The caller has a strong East Indian accent. Yesterday, I applied for a loan online. I got a call from Rachel at 614-859-9094. I thought I was talking to Community Choice Financial. After several calls, she deposited $891.00 into my account for insurance purposes. They said they would call me this morning to release the funds/confirm the loan. They didn't call. I checked my banking app, and got a warning that my account was frozen for security reasons. I called my bank. The bank said they would investigate it with their fraud department. The fraud department called back and confirmed it was a scam, and that because I have shared my personal information they have to close my account. I called Rachel back this morning, and she said you need to ask the bank to release the freeze and call us back.

I applied for a couple of loans online and was contacted by a David Wells that said he's from Community Choice Financial and that I was approved for a $10,000 loan. I said I didn't want that much, I just wanted a $5,000 loan. I gave them all my banking information and they were supposed to deposit the money into my checking account. Instead they deposited $950 into my mothers account that also has my name on it, but the bank flagged it as fraudulent and wouldn't let it go through. They said it didn't look right and was coming from NJ when I thought they were in OH. I called them and told them that they had the wrong account and asked them why the amount and they said it was some federal treasure check. I don't know what any of that means. They were supposed to deposit $5000 today and I haven't been able to get in touch with them.

This individual called back asking why I had not answered his text message. The second number used was a New York number.

Also text msgs: ii this is Adam Smith your loaning officer and this is to inform you mam i got the confirmation from the accounts department and they said you are gnoring their calls that $750 is a government money for your loan insurance so give us a call asap otherwise insurance department will take a legal ction.

I was called by the number 914-573-5840 saying that I was pre-approved for a $5,000 loan that my payments would be $140 a month for 48 months they knew my bank account routing number and my account number. I asked them what business name they had for these loans, they said they were Community Choice Financial and that his name was Cruise Hardy that they were based out of Ohio and he was going to be my loan officer and they needed confirmation that my account was real so they sent me a text message from this same number saying they need me to give them my online banking user name and password. So I looked this company up online and called the number they had on the website (which was different form the number that called me) they said they didn't have no pre approved offers and that there is someone scamming people using their name.

I was applying for a loan and I received a text message from a company telling me I had been approved for a loan for $4000 so I called this person because they gave me their name and number and the name of the company which was Community Choice Financial I called them they told me I had been approved and that all I had to do was to go through my bank account and have certain specifications or I could go through MoneyGram I told them I did not have a MoneyGram in my area so they told me I could use Western Unionhey homie all I have to do was go to western union store and send 106 dollarsand 106 dollars was to process the money gramand that I would get 106 dollars back on top of the loan moneyso I did that and they gave me a reference number for moneygram after all of it was done I went to a MoneyGram store to receive the loan money on top of the money I had already sent and the reference number they gave me for moneygram was not right was invalid and when I called them back to tell them that it was invalid they told me that I had to have a secured payments to validate the reference number to make it good therefore they wanted me to pay 400 and some dollars just to receive the loan money but they did not tell me in the beginning that I would have to do that and then when I called to talk to them to try to get my money back they were arguing and fighting with me and telling me I could not receive my money back and on top of it all they kept hanging up on me therefore this company is not real they are scam artist and no real company would do something like that Plus when I told them I was going to get the law involved they said you can go ahead and do that and hung up on me like they didn't care because they had already received $106 for me that I will not get back most likely and I want this to be stopped so no one else has it happened to them the guys name was Jack Watson and I still have messages on my phone from him and they are using the name of a company that already exists with a total different number I will include the messages and the names and phone numbers in the bottom please help stop these horrible people.
