I got a FB message from my friend talking about a free grant from Community Development Block Washington DC. My friend said he got $50,000, and their other friends got money too. He keeps telling me to get the money. We were promised a $50,000 grant. The first text said I had won money that I could receive. They say headquarters doesn't allow them to answer phone calls or to call out. They said I had to pay money to assure the bank I would pay taxes on it. I told them I was disabled and have COPD. They don't care, they just say get the money. I asked if they had my address and they sent me a picture of my house. They told us to go to Walmart, Walgreens or CVS. But we told them we don't drive and could only get to Speedway. My husband bought $2000 in eBay gift cards from Speedway on Brice and Livingston in Columbus, Oh. My husband scratchd the security numbers from the backs of the cards and took pictures of them and sent them. They are still texting me asking asking for another $1000. My friend texts me too saying he's put up money for me; the first time $300 and the second time $1000, because I owed $3000. My friend and the grant company have been texting me all day long every day for the last three weeks. They say they are God fearing men, and would never hurt anybody, they are doing this to help me. They told me not to tell anybody until I got the money. They sent me pictures of FedEx boxes with my name on them which say $50,000 cash. I have COPD and I've had to go without my medication this month because I bought these gift cards.
