In October I received a call from a Samantha Williams discussed everything with her, and set up the arrangement with Shawn Williams. Samantha also told me that the previous staff were all fired for not handling accounts properly. (1st red flag)
A few weeks later I called back to speak with Samantha, and Avery Davis told me that Samantha no longer worked there. (2nd red flag) I asked about a possible settlement but didn't agree to the amount offered.
About a week later I got a call from another company, Global Frontier, for VIN Capital. I spoke with Marissa Gonzales. I explained my contact with Compliant Risk Management and she immediately told me they were a scam, stop the payments, and to find my original documents from VIN capital to verify the amount, which Compliant Risk Management claimed was way higher than my paperwork states with fees and all. Now previously I had 2 outstanding pay day loans, one of which I've settled a while back. Marissa took me through the exact same steps as they did, and sent me similar documentations to confirm our agreement. This brought me to realize that they were legitimate, and Compliance Risk Management was possibly fraudulent. What Marissa told me matched my original documents once I found them. Nothing that Compliance Risk Management told me matched up.
I called Compliant Risk Management that same day to question the claim. I spoke to Simone, who transferred me to her manager Terry. He wouldn't give me any information and just asked about the other place I talked to. I decided to find any necessary paperwork to back my claim before pursuing further action.
Yesterday I called and spoke to someone who said he talked to me about a settlement, so I'm assuming that's Avery Davis. He was extremely rude. He threatened that if I refuse to pay they'll take me to court and I'll pay the full $3300, but I was previously told that my whole balance was $1100. (Red flag scare tactic) he wouldn't give me contact info for VIN capital, and when I asked for my loan account number he gave me one that was incorrect. I told him I have my original loan documents, which I do, and he said it was fake, though he's never seen them. He said if it's not signed by an attorney, it's fake, and I need to have my attorney call within 48 hours or I'm not getting any money back. He stated that they have me on a recorded line starting that I agreed to the charges. I then told him I'm now on a recorded line stating that I found my original documentation and discovered I was cheated and lied to, and I no longer agree to nor will I pay, any charges. House rudeness continued then he hung up on me.
On many attempts to call back, I was automatically routed to the hold music, then hung up on.
