Type of a scam Identity Theft
This organization seems to function by posting pop-up ads online. The pop ups say something along the lines of "Your computer has a virus, please call this number for help." This is scam targeting the elderly and those who are not adept at using computers. My mother was fooled by this pop-up ad. She dialed the number and gave them her checking account information. I tried to speak with these people and they became very frustrated as I was asking them simple questions such as "What is your name?" and "What is the name of your company? We are not sure if they have stolen money from my mother, and we are not sure how to check. We are thinking about closing her checking account.
