I was on my computer one day and I got a pop-up saying I had a virus and I had to call this phone number. I was nervous about the virus so I called the phone number (which claimed to be Microsoft) and was told I had to pay $299.99 for their service to clean up my computer. Unfortunately I did pay the money and they put their program on my computer. I then forgot about it and now 3 years later I get an email on February 10, 2019 saying they will auto-renew my subscription on February 8, 2019. I have tried to call several times to cancel and request a refund and I keep getting hung up on or told they will call me back.
