When I am searching online for recipes I have frequently received a message that there is a problem with my computer and I am to call a certain number. I usually turn the computer off and then on again and do nothing. It has begun to be much more frequent; so, today I wrote down the telephone number associated with the pop-up scam. The telephone number is 1-833-864-4066. Recently I learned about a friend who was taken for $2200 dollars (from her banking account related to this type of scam) I intend to report each time this happens to me. I thank you for being available to assist consumers. They did not get a chance to interact with me. I did not respond to them at all.
