I received an email from "Jason Ingram" ([email protected]) following up on an Instructional Designer application I submitted with Conexiant via LinkedIn. I expressed my continued interest and was asked to complete a 15-question PDF questionnaire. I completed and sent the questionnaire. I then received a form email with clearly copied/pasted text not only offering me the job but assuming I had accepted. It also included weird disclaimers about their hiring process being conducted totally digitally. I was asked to send personal information (name, address, phone number, email) to [email protected] to initiate the next steps. I replied explaining I was suspicious of the offer, and asked for reassurance that this was legitimate. I've received nothing since. I'm happy to send along the email thread if that would be helpful.
