I applied for a loan with who I thought was spring financial for 10,000 dollars. He said the credit bureau wanted to build my credit so he would make deposits to my bank account and I could but Amazon or apple gift cards and send him pictures of the cards and receipts. I fell for it and he emailed me a contract. I sent him the last picture of the gift cards and we got disconnected, when I tried to call him back a recording came on saying the number couldn’t be reached from my calling area. The next day my bank called me and said the deposits made to my account were done by counterfeit cheques.
