11/1/24 - Called my phone number asking for my mother (90 years old), indicating to press (1) if this was her or (2) to take a message. I pressed (2) and was told to have my mother call them back at (888) 213-4142, (Caller ID 888 345-5509). I believe this to be a fraudster although my mother does have a cell phone with Consumer Cellular, but she has never used my phone number for a reference. I believe this fraudster obtained my telephone number from an internet report indicating me as a relative. I called my mother, and she said her Consumer Cellular bill was paid in full last week. I looked up the Caller ID number ONLINE given to me to call back (888) 213-4142 and found out there have been several complaints regarding this phone number but the Caller ID phone number (888) 345-5509 is the real phone number for Consumer Cellular, according to their website. BEWARE!

11/2/24 - Called again today with the same automated message so I called them back to let them know it was a swindle and to stop calling me regarding someone else's fraud bill.
