My husband received a "text" advertising Credit Card Debt Relief - called the number and spoke with a John Santana who told him about their program - after my husband signed a document which was sent to his phone - he told me about it - I immediately knew it was too good to be true - was taking $14000.00 off his credit card debt and lowering the interest payments to 0% for a monthly affordable payment - I wanted to talk to John Santana - I had questions. My husband called him and told him I would be calling. I called 888 407-5710 - voice message was John Santana - not a company - first red flag - he called me back - he was pretty good with his answers - very personable - I almost believed him but still knew it was too good to be true - I asked him about the company he worked for - said it was Consumer Credit Card Relief - and they were accredited with the ScamPulse.com - this is what gave me a little hope. I asked him to email me the agreement that my husband signed with the name of this company. He said he would not be able to do so but that he would send me an email or text with the name and address of the company. I asked my husband to forward to me the agreement he signed (which he signed and texted back) - he emailed it and when I got it from DocuSign - it was expired. I was in work - never received a text from him with he name of his company. I called and left several messages and John was not returning the call. He then called my husband and said that he was busy with another customer but would be calling - at this point I felt he was for whatever reason trying to stall us for time. He finally called me - gave me the company name and resent the agreement to my husband - I googled Consumer Credit Card Relief - nothing there - then all of a sudden it was there! Lots of red flags here - I believe this is a scam - and an very well thought out one with more than one person working it. The website's phone number is 888 625-0058 - a man answers that sounds agitated and says you have the wrong number - I asked if he was getting a lot of calls thinking maybe this is his personal number and he said yes - not sure if he is a victim or part of this what I believe to be a scam. My husband gave them our banking information and we went to the bank froze our accounts and got new ones.
