The original website purports to be an impartial third-party research co. However, upon further reading they do admit they get paid by some of the companies whose products they endorse. Then, when one gets to Get-Blendit.com, they never tell you that the “Blend-it” advertised and paid for is NOT what one is going to receive. I accidentally ordered twice. However, after the first fake substitute, I asked them if the second shipment would, indeed, be a “Blend-it” as advertised. They said it would be. However, each time I received a far inferior .Chinese blender called “Juice Cup”. In each case, they said I could not recover their shipping costs plus would have to deduct a “re-stocking” fee, nowhere mentioned in their literature. I had told them NOT to send the second unit if not the actual “blendit” device. They assured me it was. I am now out the shipping cost + the restocking fee which could have been avoided completely.
