- Orangeville, PA, USA • Dec 12, 2024

received call claiming it was the federal consumer protection agency that someone had tried to use my credit card fraudulently in the amount of 1900.00 - they said Z Technology out of North Carolina. I told them no I didn't make that charge and they said they would remove charges. They said my credit report was visible and all of my information was exposed, noticed that I had a large amount of debt and wanted to connect me to the Specialized Consumer Strategies that would help me. I accepted the phone call and was told that I would be charged 1500.00 on my Master Card and almost 5000.00 on my American Express. They had all of my information, including accounts and expiration dates, and my husband's name and adult children's names.
