The scammer called my business and said they were calling from Consumers Energy. The scammer said that we have 45 minutes before our power was shut off. I know Consumers Energy will never call their customers about disconnection so I told the scammer I knew she was a liar and hung up. This has happened before when my bill was past due, but how do they know? I think it's an inside scam because they have information about my account and business.
