This company appears to be trying to look like a legitimate consumer research/mystery shopper company, but is not. They send you a bogus check that you cash, and then go buy $2500 gift cards. Then they ask you to send the scratched gift card information to them as proof that you have done this. The check then bounces, and they have already used the gift cards.

They are using a company name very similar to our company name. People who are getting the fraudulent checks are mistakenly calling us for verification. We are telling them not to go through with the instructions.
