My mother in law bought an insurance policy at the age of 83 from a salesman with Continental Insurance. She bought the policy because she thought and was told it was along Term Care! Now, she fell, broke her hip and is going to an assisted living facility. Got the policy out and had it reviewed by a social worker and was told (it’s not worth the paper it’s written on!!!! She paid in approximately $30,000 for this policy and it covers nothing. Let me rephrase that, it will pay $10 a day for nursing care!!!! That is elder abuse!!!! How dare the gentleman who sold her this, do such a thing. What a rip off!!!!! Continental.Insurance should be ashamed!!!!!!!!! We the family are livid!!!!
