My husband was called from a local number (619)6581027 saying she was an investigator trying to locate me to serve me papers because I was being sue for fraud on a loan for A phone I took out back in 2015. A loan that I had paid off. I myself was never contacted. She gave him a case number told him I needed to call 8774922191 immediately to avoid being served. He contacted them on his own and they had my last 4 of my social, my home address and my mother in laws address. He was nervous for me and set up payments and give his credit card. When he got a hold of me and told me I called them back the same representative answered the phone which I already thought was weird, I asked them for their name, address and a license number or something the guy got nervous and said he couldn’t provide an address because of safety reasons because recent shootings and they have their kids there sometimes, he transferred me to the manager where he said he could not provide an address and that a license number was not required. I asked for conformation of this debt they said they would email me it which I never received so I told them I believed it was a scam and hung up. They never said they would recording the call either. I called canceled my husbands credit card and looked more into continental where I found more scams under that name, I called the local number that initially called my husband and it was a recording saying this is the investigation line but they do not take calls at that number and the call would be terminated. Later that night my mom called worried because she had a voice mail for me from an investigator calling from ?(559) 238-7492? saying their going to find me an that I had been served. Today they called again from a completely different number (524) 278-2234? and left a message saying that if I didn’t pay within 2-3 hours the law was being filed and good luck if I don’t take care of this soon. There really aggressive about getting money from you.

I was contacted saying I owed a balance from a check cashing place and if I didn't pay it they were going to sue me for fraud and garnish my wages. I asked for documentation to support I owed this money and they told me they are nor able to give me any paperwork and that it's gone to far in the system. They then said if I didn't pay them now that I would have additional fees for someone to locate me to start the settlement. Every time I called they gave me the run able round with out any information.

The first phone call i received was from 541-315-4511. I didn't answer. The second time they called, i answered and the gentleman very rudely told me he was with the firm, that i have officially been served, and that i needed to contact 877-399-2048 with the claim they have against me. They even gave me a claim number. When i tried calling 541-315-4511 back, i got a voicemail saying i have reached the firm, they are not taking phone calls, and that this phone call will now be terminated, and it hung up. i then tried calling 877-399-2048. the gentlemen said he was Dan Williams with continental, and that i took out a loan with ace cash express back in April of 2013, but had given ace a faulty bank routing number, and they were suing me for fraud. they said the bank cooperated with them, and that the routing number came back to my ssn. They had my last 4, my phone number, and addresses of where i had lived. they said i could pay a chunk of it now with a credit card they needed to have on file, or wait until i received papers. they kept on going on about how legit they were and that they would serve me at home or at work or garnish wages. when i asked what bank i had used they wouldn't tell me. the strange thing is they had my number, name and previous addresses. and there are ace expresses near me. i guess ill wait to see if i get any papers. Th ScamPulse.com said this sounds a lot like what is going on right now.

I have requested several times to be placed on the do not call list- they continue to contact me at my office phone. I allowed the VRU to connect me to a live representative and was put in contact with a guy named "Terry" and he stated he was calling from Continental (either warranty or auto warranty...not sure). I asked to speak to a supervisor and he hung up on me. I have a brand new BMW, and its a lease, it doesn't require warranty services. I have no idea how they would have got my number but I am sure they are calling random people to try to extract personal information and also take payment for fake warranties.

They called to tell me to pay them money over the phone - a guy named Thomas called said he was on his way to my house to deliver a package he called from a Milan Tennessee number 731-238-1666 would not tell me who he was but kept asking me to verify my address. He was trying to talk fast and avoid the questions by out talking me. Told me to call the "844" number

When called the 8448175718 some burley toned guy answered, first wouldn't identify himself or the company just kept saying this is processing department- we take payments. He kept asking for my information and I told him this was a scam and I wasn't going along with it- he said he couldn't tell me anything until I gave him all my information including phone, address, last four of ss# - he was trying to guess information. I knew it was a scam the holidays are approaching and people are scamming innocent people into paying them money. I hope nobody else falls for this. They are likely a debt collector company who bought a list of names of old debts and are trying to use these scam tactics.
