Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order
A priority envelope showed up with my name on it.
Inside was a check for 3,420.62 With a company name on the check from Orchard-Rite Ltd, inc
Address on the check was from PO Box 9308 Yakima WA 98909 (Different from the assignment letter and company)
It says the usual stuff, buy gift cards, scratch off the code, send them the code and keep 400.00 of the money.
If you do this task-in 24 hours you get to keep more money... ( because the fake check won’t get taken back from your bank account in a few days)
