I was looking for work on Craigslist and was contacted by someone who wanted me to help post ads on craigslist and he would pay me $500 per week. I was told i would have a cashier's check sent in the mail, before i started working for him, to prove he was real. I eventually received the check and contacted the issuing bank (Hamilton State Bank). They told me to not do anything as they couldn't find any info about this check. I then contacted the business (Control Specialties) and was told that they cancelled their account with Hamilton State Bank 5 months prior.
