The scammer advertised a flash sale on apparel such as jeans. The jeans I purchased had a price range of USD $1.50 to $2.80. The business name Fashion Nova could be seen at the top of the webpage. I believed that I was purchasing the items from a Fashion Nova flash sale, which I considered to be legitimate since a co-worker had mentioned buying jeans from Fashion Nova's timed and low-priced discount sales. The items were added to my cart, and I selected a number of items until I qualified for free shipping on the order. The order total cost $44.50 USD, and I was charged $120.83 XCD on my debit card. I was not logged into an account when I completed the transaction since I had not created an account yet. I provided my full name and email address. I received an email stating that my ORDER hypnive240311072504191 was on the way and was provided with the tracking number: CTTY2023264033CN. Also, a list of the items in the shipment was included in the email. When I went to the website, https://www.track718.com/en/detail?nums=CTTY2023264033CN the following tracking information was available:

When I did not receive the package, I sent an email to [email protected] informing them that I did not receive the order, even though it had been marked as delivered. I received the email reply:

Hello, ******* ****** Thank you for contacting us.

Please allow me to explain to you what happens with package shipping. Your package was delivered directly to the delivery address by the courier we cooperate with.It does not need to be forwarded by your local courier, so you cannot check our parcels on your local courier query website.

We are very sorry to hear that you have not received your package yet.

We understand your eagerness to receive your package.

Please accept our sincere apologies for the unpleasant shopping experience we have brought to you.

Please rest assured that we will actively solve your problems as always.

The logistics information shows that your package has been delivered.

I then responded by letting them know that I checked the courier used, and there was no email address on the contact us page on the website. So I was unable to reach out to let them know that my package was not successfully delivered. I requested that the items I ordered be delivered to the correct shipping address, which is 1708 NW 82nd Ave, WT1002386, Doral, Florida, United States, 33126. I informed them that no neighbors or family members were receiving my package on my behalf. Also, if the package was delivered to a different location, I don't believe that is my fault, as I did provide my precise delivery address. I specified that if my package cannot be redelivered, then I will request a full refund. The response I received was this:

Hello, ******* ****** Thank you for contacting us.

We are very sorry to hear that you haven't received the package yet. We understand your feelings. We are well aware that every order and package carries the strong expectations and love of customers. Our goal has always been to provide customers with a satisfactory shopping experience, and please believe that we will solve all your problems for you.

After hearing your feedback about not receiving the package, we contacted the courier as soon as possible, hoping that the courier could make financial compensation, but it was difficult for us to obtain compensation from the courier. Normally, couriers will not make any compensation for delivered packages.

As our precious customer, we cannot let you bear this loss. We are willing to resend the package with the expedited service to you for free and it is supposed to arrive within 7-15 days.

1. Are you willing to receive the second package? We will resend you if you want. Please let us know about your opinion.

2. If you are unwilling to wait and refuse the second package, please let us know and we will continue to provide you with other solutions.

I thanked them for providing the option to resend the package and confirmed that I was willing to wait and receive the second package. I provided the shipping address and order number again. I received an email reply:

We are arranging reshipment for you. Due to system limitations, the tracking number of the reissued package cannot be updated to your original order details.

During this period, if you change your mind and are no longer willing to wait for a replacement package, please feel free to contact us and we will provide you with other solutions.

I sent this exact email in response: I am following up on the tracking number for my reissued package. I trust that it has already been shipped and is on its way to being delivered to the correct delivery address I provided. I do appreciate your assistance in this regard and look forward to receiving my package with ease this time around. The next day, I received this email reply:

Please rest assured that we will urge the carrier to deliver the package to your address.
