I got a text from a person named Yolanda Kyle and said that I had applied for a data entry clerk position. So I looked up the name and number and as it turns out it is a scam from the name of the company to the phone number and the name. I didn't give them any important information on my end so if anyone receive this message block the number.

I also received an email from a Sarah Houston same company name wanting to interview via Signal App. I will not be contacting them.

I experienced a similar scam with all the same players:
Jhoselyn Mauricio
Yolanda Kyle
Kaitlin Hartung

They tried to pull the scam on me but with a company called Remazel Engineering. Thanks to sites like this, I stopped the scam before we lost any money (that I know of.)

Mrs. Kaitlin Hartung [ (747) 248-2557 ] apparently also 'works' for Remazel Engineering as well--also based in Italy. My experience so far is exactly the same as Hester's above. Except I'm not going to go further and receive a fake check. I've never had a legit company work this way, they just provide the laptop monitors etc.
The company itself may be legit - if so - I doubt they are even aware.

I received a text message from a Sarah Rodriguez 703-962-7534 in regards to my resume (which I never sent or applied for) for CORAL Engineering. I located the company on Linkdin so I assumed they came across my resume on there. Here is what the text message said Greetings, My name is Sarah Rodriguez from CORAL Engineering Srl. I'm contacting you in regards to your resume approved for the Remote Data Entry Clerk/Administrative Assistant position with a pay rate of $35.00/hr. Kindly download the Google Chat app (on your mobile device or PC) via https://mail.google.com/chat/u and set up an account to contact Mrs. Sarah Wentworth, one of the Hiring Managers via Google Chat/Message by sending her a contact request on her Google Chat profile [email protected] which can be used to identify her ASAP for the online interview/briefing and comprehensive job details ASAP, Thank you! == I downloaded Google Chat and searched the email provided. From there I corresponded with Sarah Wentorth and completed the interview process with Google Chats. I was then advised that after reviewing with her team that I was hired and that they needed my full name, address, phone number and email address and that a check would be sent out via mail in order to purchase the needed equipment and programs for the job position. She also started that I would receive my offer letter in the morning via email address from Jhoselyn Mauricio who would be my supervisor. The entire encounter seemed very off to me from the start. So I looked into this to make sure it was not a scam. I then found these other complaints of the same thing. Jhoselyn is the name of a real employee that can be found on Linkdin who only speaks Spanish and is located in Peru. I received my offer letter this morning but I did not open the letter so they could not install any Malware. I blocked all contacts with them. Do not fall for this! If anyone asks you to install an app in order to communicate it is not real.

I received a text message from a Mrs. Kaitlain Hartung 1(747) 248-2557 that they wanted to interview me for their Data Entry/Administrative Assistant position. I completed the interview via text and received a text stating I was hired for the position, and they asked me how I wanted to get paid by direct deposit or check and wanted my banking information. I told them that I wanted to be paid by check and weekly, but they never sent the confirmation letter of hire to my email address. So, they got my email address and phone number. Since they didn't deliver as promised it appears to be an employment scam if you give them your bank account information, they will try to steal any money that's in your account.

The check was sent via US Postal. I was advised by Kaitlin to deposit the check into my account and once the check clear she would give the details to contact vendors to purchase the job equipment then I would began paid orientation and training. I took the check to Valley Strong Check Union and they advised me that would need to verify funds . The teller returned to advised that cashier that was issued had been chased in 2018. And that my employeer was attempting to commit fraud. I contacted Ms Kaitlin advised her what was advised she assured me that the teller was wrong. And told to just another Valley Strong Credit Union so I did. When I attempted to deposit the check the branch manager advised that this is scram to commit. He keep the check. I contacted Ms. Kaitlin via Signal she did not respond.
