Employment scam

I was contacted via text message from Linda Pascal from CORAL Engineering SRL in regards to a Data Entry Clerk/Admin Ast. position. I chatted with a Sherice Stallworth via Google Chat app. I was offered a job the next day with pay at $35.00/hr and training at $30.00/hr. I was also informed that I would asked to cash a check to purchase office equipment with the money from my bank account. Today I received a job Offer from Jhoselyn Mauricio .Be careful this is a scam and do not accept any payment from CORAL Engineering SRL.

I received an email for a job starting at $35 for data entry which was too good to be true so I checked this website before I responded. Not going to respond, it's a shame people do this to someone needing work.

I was contacted via text message from Sarah Rodriguez from CORAL Engineering SRL in regards to a Data Entry Clerk/Admin Ast. position. I chatted with a Sarah Wentworth via Google Chat app. I was offered a job the next day with pay at $35.00/hr and training at $30.00/hr. I was also informed that I would asked to cash a check to purchase office equipment with the money from my bank account. I then promptly called the ScamPulse.com to ask for more information. After their checking of the company, the ScamPulse.com found that this was indeed a scam and to not accept any payment from CORAL Engineering SRL.

I had been applying to jobs for a while now and wasn’t sure which this one was when they reached out to me via text. They asked I download an app ‘signal’ to complete with Kaitlin Hartung Head HR for the company. They also provided me with a reference code to send when reaching out to Kaitlin. I downloaded the appt and got in touch with Kaitlin, she informed me the that the ‘interview’ portion would be held via IM. I was offered the job the same day. The next day I received an email from Jhoselyn Mauricio who sent me an employment letter. Kaitlin had told me that this company would be sending me a check to purchase my equipment for work . This is when I became very hesitant as I have been a victim of scammers before . I had this check in my hands within the next 2 days from when I did the interview . I still have yet to actually speak with someone on the phone or reply to the employment letter. This morning I was in contact with Kaitlin and let her know I had a few concerns with depositing this check and asked to speak with someone on the phone or via zoom. Radio silence . I have not heard anything since . I did as much research as I could when they reached out to me and everything seemed 100% real. I hope no one else falls for this.
