Core Energy Group Reports & Reviews (2)

I purchased additional solar panels on my home in June 2022 from AP Systems (Core Energy Group installers). I have 3 panels that out of no where are shattered. My residence is Florida. I am trying to get them to honor the 10 year warranty and replace them but they only communicate via text messages. They are saying it is not covered and I have to pay $500 a panel. These solar panels should be able to handle the weather. They are insinuating I did something to the panels because that is unusual they would shatter. I am 60 years old I have not touched those panels. I just got the information from them of how to monitor my production and access my account on December 1, 2023. Because they didn't give me that information in 2022. I gave an review on Google the owner responds it is not covered under warranty because it was hail. Have your home insurance cover it and get a new roof too. I have never had hail in Florida since I moved here. They asked me to send a picture. One of the damage panels is close to the edge of the roof. The other two are further up. Once they seen the picture they want to point blame to me and hail. They are saying hail because it is not covered under warranty. My understanding hail, fire or lightning is not covered under warranty. Even though I was never given my warranty information. Neither one of these happen. It has only rained since I moved here. This is the most unethical company. No one has even offered to come and inspect the damage. Just blaming hail and me you need to tell me what day it hailed in FL. If I could remove these solar panels I would because a 10 year warranty and I am only 18 months in my loan and you are not even trying to see what happen just blaming the consumer.

Was approached by a door to door salesman representing Core Energy / Solgen Construction. Was informed that NEM 2 deadline was fast approaching and now was the time to go solar and get our rebate of $18,040 plus a referral rebate of $1,000 and a panel upgrade rebate of $1,500. We signed a contract in the amount of $60,296. We never did receive a hardcopy of the contract as everything was done via an Ipad in a very hurried manner. The contract was signed in Feb, 2023. Solar installed April, 2023. Submitted to Southern California Edison my application for Permission to Operate in July, 2023. Application was denied by SCE on Sept, 2023 due to my account not having "an existing NEM contract". I have attempted to contact SCE without a return phone call or an answer to my emails. I have attempted to contact our solar salesman, Anthony Boughton at 609-381-2970, the mailbox is always full. Tried to contact Cole Farmer, President and CEO of Core Energy at 908-868-2677 without response or return call. Have tried to reach Jeramie Rose, company representative at 801-318-5278 and found that his cell phone mailbox full. To date I am paying my monthly electric bill and my solar loan. I was sold a bill of goods in that I was never going to see the promised rebates and now in procession of an inoperable solar installation, not to mention ongoing monthly payments to Mosaic in the amount of $230. This company and it's representatives are total scam artists!
