Core Network Fix Reports & Reviews (1)

The scammers calling themselves corenetworkfix.com called my elderly grandparents, offering to help them remove malware on their computer. They call from multiple numbers, ask for payments for a yearly protection service and then continue to ask for more and more funds in check, as well as through Target gift cards. They convinced my grandparents that they were a real company and convinced my grandparents to grant the scammers access to their computer remotely so they could "fix" the problem. As the scam progresses, the scammers need more and more money to be able to"fix" the problems, like purchasing new software. My grandparents have lost over 7000 dollars and are under extreme stress trying to secure new bank accounts, credit cards, phone numbers, and are working to have their computer actually cleaned by a real internet and computer professional.
