I was initially contacted via text from a "Barry Starkweather" saying that he was from a company called "APA Corporation Co." & he had found my resume on a job site listing. After only a few work experience questions he said I was hired. I did look up his name & his company it was a large Oil & Gas processor out of Houston TX. Then he told me I needed to interview with the hiring manager for further details about what job I would qualify for. Mr. Starkweather told me I was going to be dealing with "Mrs. Annie Merret Tolbert". I then got switched to a google chat msg from "Marie Harrison". She was with a complete different co. She did tell me (After I had to ask!) What company I had been HIRED for. I did look up CORNEAT Vison company - They were from Israel. Marie went through more hiring details telling me I was immediately hired. She was very worried about was if I had the right hardware equipment for the job. because she was going to set me up with $2500 with of new computer equipment. BUT it had to be from a check they were going to send me first. I had to swear I was going to deposit it immediately via only ATM & then buy the software from their "special" vendor they use. They wanted to do direct deposit & asked for my personal log in & password information!! I did not give this. She tried to tell me that it was needed because that is how direct deposit works. She also wanted me to do a IRS verification of my identity & send her that link after I did it. I did not do this. I did set up a 2nd bank account just because I was VERY suspicious of this "job". But I would NOT give her my log in information. But when I did think it was really a job, unfortunately I did give my address & other information for hiring reasons.

She did send me a screen shot of what she claimed was a overnight pkg of the chk being sent to me. It was not a legitimate return address & UPS had no record of the tracking number.
