After applying for multiple data entry jobs and allowing recruiters access to my contact information. I received a text from a 475 number telling me to sign up for the Telegram app to interview for a data entry job with BYK USA INC with the "hiring manager," Patricia Thackerson. I "interviewed" and was told that I'd be receiving a check that they would expedite overnight through FedEx. The first attempt was flagged and returned to the sender under suspicion of fraud because the account used to mail the check had been closed.

I called the headquarters of the company, and was informed that Patricia is not associated with BYK and people have been calling with similar questions to mine. The check came in with a different company name, Corporate Color Painting, when I called they told me someone has been using their company name and address to scam people.

Look out for the fraud Patricia Thackerson.
