I received a voice message stating: "We are calling regarding a formal complaint that has been filed (against me) and if you have any information that could lead to the whereabouts of this individual please contact us immediately at 1-855-618-4993. Our next step will be filing the necessary paperwork with the local county court".

I, being the party they were looking for, immediately called back curious as to what this could be reagrding. The first time I called, I spoke to gentleman who was not so friendly. When I started asking questions, he called me sweetheart and I firmly told him not to call me sweetheart and he hung up on me. I immediately called back and spoke to a lady. I was informed that they were working for a 3rd party lender, SGT, to get back the sum of $590.00 from an unpaid payday loan. The lady I spoke to was very vague in providing me information and would not tell me who the original lender was but that a check had bounced through my bank, JP Morgan Chase Bank. I informed her I have never had an account with JP Morgan Chase Bank in my life and they do not even have a branch in the city I live in. She informed me that this was not her problem and that I would have to take this up in court. I asked her the name of her company and she said Costal. I asked where she was located and she refused to provide me with that information. I then informed her that I knew this was a scam and she insisted it was not. I informed her that I was intellegent enough to know that she expected me to provide her with my actual bank account information, which I would not do, so that she and her company Costal, could then have access to my account. She again denied it was a scam and threatened that I would have to wait to be served with court papers to clear this matter up due to not having banked with JP Morgan Chase Bank. I informed her that I would be contacting the ScamPulse.com and she basically told me to go right ahead. The scary part was is that they knew a lot about me: address, phone number (cell phone number that is not listed) employer, social security number. I plan on looking into some security measures as I saw mentioned by someone else who was also contacted by this company.

I just received a phone call from this company "Costal", attempting to obtain a $510 payment for a bogus loan that they stated I applied for and never re-paid back. I asked for the last four numbers of the checking account this loan was associated with and the representative gave me the correct numbers (scary) however when I asked for the date that this loan was opened the representative "Frank Richards" stated prior to 2012. Little did he know that I did not open this particular checking account until the summer of 2013. I knew this was a scam immediately after that. When asked why the loan company did not contact me prior to 2015 he stated he was not sure. I also asked for the loan company contact information and he stated that he could only provide me with a name "JD Morgan Marketing". I will be obtaining Safe Lock today as this "fake" company did have my address, email address, and bank name. I told Mr. Frank Richards that I believe this was a scam and would be reporting this company to the BBB, he stated "that's even better"...I do not know what that meant. He then stated the name of the company was only "Costal" located in Atlanta and that their contact number is the number in my phone. This company called me threatening to take a lawsuit out against me and court fees if I did not take care of the balance with them. When I asked to speak with a supervisor to request this information in writing, I was placed on hold and no one picked up.
