I saw an ad on Facebook for what I thought was the legitimate store, JoAnn Fabrics and clicked on it. I had red that JoAnn's was in bankruptcy and so seeing a sales ad didn't initiate any queries. I was taken to the website, ????-?????? ??????????, www.joannstoressales,shop, but I didn't look at the website, I was busy looking at the items for sale; everything I dreamed of owning. I admit that I had a lot of fun picking out items I wanted to buy. I followed through with the credit card request, address, etc. I was quite surprised to see that an over $200 billing was reduced on the invoice page to &79.23 by the seller. I completed the sales operation. Then I had to admit to myself that it was all fake, except for the taking of my credit card information. I then went to my credit card website and filed a dispute. I received a number of emails from the Seller that included a tracking number for my sent package (nothing received to date), apologies for the mistake, and an offer to reimburse me half of my payment if I would lift the Dispute. I have not done so, and continue to encourage my credit card company to not issue payment to this entity. I have kept all of the emails.
