I did not call and was looking online to see if they are scammers

- Coeur D Alene, ID, USA

This was targeted to me, using my Wells Fargo Bank. Saying ( This letter is to inform you that the property's home warranty, at my address secured by Well's Fargo , may be expiring or may have already expired. Our records indicate that you HAVE NOT CONTACTED us yet to get your Home Warranty up to date.

Please call IMMEDIATYLY as this will be our FINAL ATTEMPT TO NOTIFY YOU 1-888-688-8002

Without a home warranty in place, you are at risk of being financially liable for any repairs. However, you still may have time left to activate a Warranty on your home before it's too late. No inspection will be required and final acceptance is subject to your ability to meet eligibility requirements.

( Then they have a check I can send to them .

Mail claims that a home warranty provided by [mortgage lender name] for the receiving address is expiring. Immediate response requested. Security envelope with "county deed records" and the mortgage lender name on the front to seem more legitimate. Renewal fee voucher made to resemble a check. No company name or details provided, simply "Home Warranty Dept" and a phone number.

I received a letter in the mail from 'County Deeds Records' that had my mortgage bank listed, stating I was at risk for my home warranty to expire. Attached was a fake check that looks real, but also under the check says "THIS IS NOT A CHECK" for $199 (reimbursement of the renewal fee). This is not a legit company or a legit check. The company runs scams all over the country and is based in California per the person I talked to over the phone.

I received a letter from County Deed Records with a fraudulent notice about my home warranty and a false check. They include my lender institutions to attempt to appear more legitimate as well as urgency language to get a reaction. Don’t fall for it.

The outside said "County Deed Records" - "FINAL NOTICE" - RESPONSE REQUESTED". It also had the name of my mortgage company on it. The inside is also very deceptive and misleading. It looks like it is from the mortgage company and must be filled out and returned.

I received an official government looking notice Labeled "County Deed Records" via USPS. It does not have a return address, only Ft. Lauderdale, FL permit no. 4810 in the postage stamp block. It was addressed to my deceased father who previously owned this property (4265 Thompson Hollow Rd, Iron City, Tn 38463.) It appears to be deceptively peddling a home warranty. I did not contact the business. Photos included. Document was received with damaged corner.

- San Antonio, TX, USA

I received this suspicious and fraudulent county deed warranty solicitation postal card which shows the property I am living at with someone else's name as the "Property Lien Holder". I have called the toll free number and someone answered. I told the person this is was false advertisement and fraudulent. The scammers claim to be affiliated with the "Home Warranty Division", but have been reported to be inaccurate after a few Google searches.
