on 7/27/19 a man claiming to be edward stated he had a refund for me in amount of 300.00 all i needed to do was log on to his account and that is when he took control of my computer and hacked into my bank account took me for 3,000.00. By the time i figured out what happened, it was too late. I then was continually called by a 1 800 number never answered blocked each call, did not stop. On 8/9/19 I finally answered, it was a prerecorded message stating it was social security investigations and if I had been violated/scammed to press #1 when i did the same man, recognizing his indian voice wanted me to give him my information, when I challenged him for his name he gave me some name, I stated how do I know who you are, he then started to give me a garbled id number like a badge number and I said I will go online and check you out, he then immediately yelled F--- You and hung up on me and all the phone calls immediately stopped. It was a coincidence that I had called social security that same day that the 1800 number came in. So it appears they were tracking calls being made to soc sec by the public and returning the calls on the same day trying to hook them with scam. They are good at it, so they think. But regardless, karma is a bad thing it is coming their way!
