Type of a scam Tax Collection
Pure scam! My friend haven't even filed taxes yet
Please check the attached snapshot of email
It shows email address of scammer (not from CRA), added Canada flag/logo & Tax Reference # to make it look convincing, a due date to claim the refund (spelling mistake for "1th of Avril"), and a link that will direct to a page where personal details/banking information can be entered.
The email was then sent to the Junk folder and "reported as phishing scam"
