I went on Craigslist to find an apartment. I sent an email to 614 S Ogden, Col, OH 43204. A week or two later I got a text from 251-929-4882. They emailed me an application. I emailed the completed application. A couple of days later, they said I was approved for a house. They said they would mail me the lease and the keys to get in the house. They told me not to worry about the signs out front that they were going to sell the house, but a friend convinced them to rent it out. They told me to swing by, and I did, there was newspaper up and no chairs on the front porch. They told me to send the transaction using Walmart to Walmart as that was the fastest way for them to get it so they could overnight me the package from Fedex. I called Walmart using the number on the receipt. Walmart so they couldn't help me as the money had already been sent and the person already picked up the money. I sent the money Tuesday, 2.12.19. I used my debit card to pay for the transaction. The clerk did not warn me about scams, just took my money. I contacted the scammer yesterday, and they said they were calling FedEx for the tracking number. I said they should have already had the tracking number, and they have not responded. I called FedEx, and they said there was no package being sent to my address, but could not know for sure without a tracking number. My mom told me to contact ScamPulse.com and the news. They made everything sound real. She said the money was to go in her husband's account. She said his name is Jorge Antonio Porraa, Los Angeles, CA 90001, his email was [email protected]. I have my receipt, and all of the text messages.
The Walmart store where the money was picked up was #2886, 8500 Washington Blvd, Pico-Rivera, CA 90660 on Wednesday the 13th at 12:54 pm, their number is 562-801-2413.
