I have been looking for a new job in the accounting field and I guess they got my email address from one of the various job sites and sent me a detailed email about a job offer that sounded too good to be true. I checked the website out without clicking on anything in the email and to my surprise the website seemed totally legit. I then found in one of the first google search results on Glassdoor that someone had said it was a scam company for money laundering. I decided to email them back to find out which website they got my info from just for my own knowledge and so that I can stop using that job site. It is truly upsetting that scammers are targeting people just trying to find a job to better themselves and make a living. People are disgusting.
