Called the number, claimed to be Crawford & Mackenzie --asked for my case #, after I provided they said my full name & last four of my social trying to get me to verify, I refused and asked for information about what this was about and they gave my date of birth and asked to verify, I refused and finally they used my full name, full social security number, and said they couldn't provide me any details of the case until they verified who they were speaking to. After verifying this, they said I had 3 pending charges against me, I would be served at work or at place of residence if I disputed and would have to go to court. Said I was accused of fraud and had my old bank, provided an old bank number (don't know if it was real), a date the incident supposedly happened, was pushing me to confirm either that I was going to pay the settlement or dispute and go to court. Gave me pushback when I tried to ask how long I had to decide and rush me. Called my husband and he called and paid, then realized after googling their info it was a scam and fraudulent company.
