My company, Unlocked, hired Creative Design Masters to help make the shopping experience more user-friendly on our Shopify page and increase our website speed score. They quoted us $349 for all of the work to be done in 48 business hours. 3 weeks went by with very poor communication, features were added to our website that we did not ask for, and there was no improvement to our site speed. I had to call at least 6-7 times each day before I could get someone on the phone, and they would never know who I was. One time, an employee even raised his voice at me and told me that I was not aware of what was going on because last time he talked to Christina (our company doesn’t have a Christina). They called me at 9pm the night before Thanksgiving to tell me they could not deliver on the services and that they could not refund me because they had to “outsource help and that labor cost them a lot of money.” On December 7th they agreed to a partial refund of $120, and to this date (January 25) we have still not received a refund because “due to some issues, the bank on our end has held up the transfer to your PayPal.” It’s clear this company is a scam. I am bummed we got fooled, but hopefully this information can save other small businesses and entrepreneurs the headache.
