Claimed to be verifying information for a credit card application I made last week. Knew the name of the credit card I applied for and the bank that I applied at. My voice echoed when I spoke. There were multiple people, the scammer was talking to someone when I picked up. She seemed middle aged, with a southern accent.

Asked for mothers maiden name, last 4 of SSN, and zip code. What I am wondering is how they knew what credit card I had applied for.
