Received a call. Stated they were from the Scotibank fraud dept. Was woken up, so not 100% coherent. They threatened losing account access. They said they needed me to confirm my debit card number and date of birth. Sent an email and logged me out of my account (online banking). Didn't realize the email I received was them changing my password. The seemed legit, they said the right things. However, they increased my credit limit (noticed at the bank) and got a overdraft for account (checked today). *** ****** *** **** ******* *** **** ** ***** ******* They were quite aggressive and male. Called me around 8:30-9:00 pm. I cancelled both debit and credit card.
