First I called ‘Equifax #888-207-4297, per google. I got a man on the phn (says his name is(Josh Vang). I spoke to him about identity theft in reference to a judgment against my name, and I needed it to be investigated to take it off my credit report. He had good business etiquette. He asked me some security questions which I thought was normal. Before the end of the call, he said that for Equifax to do an investigation, it would be a start of $129 and then every month the same dollar amount, and that I would have 24 seven access to the process. And that Equifax would send out letters to the establishment that wrongly put a judgment on my name/my person. I feel in reference to me paying a dollar amount was a red flag. I hope this gets taken care of. Thank goodness I didn’t get suckered into it and I did not give this person any money.
