Carlos Wiley promoted a service called "We Raise Scores," claiming to dispute negative credit items and establish tradelines, including one with Barclays. He assured results within 30 days, later extending the timeline to 60 and then 90 days, but no changes were ever made. He charged $1,400 to handle credit improvements for three individuals, with the promise that a fourth person, as part of a referral deal, would receive free credit improvement services. Despite payment, he failed to deliver any results and eventually stopped responding to calls.
