We were directed to Crestmark Construction through socaljebateprogram.org (which I'm assuming is also a scam). They state that they are a water and energy conservation program and provide rebates for energy upgrades. We were 'approved' for up to $6500 of rebates for energy upgrades and directed to contact Crestmark Construction - one of their approved contractors. We had $3000 worth of insulation upgrades done in our attic and were informed paperwork would be sent to us to begin the rebate process. We tried to reach them for 1.5 months to no avail. Finally we received a call back and they said they had processed the rebate themselves and would send us a check directly. Still no check a couple of weeks later. Finally left a brutal message and someone called back - check was mailed. WE received it and it was only for $600. So either they are stealing the rebates, or the rebate program is a scam set up to direct customers to them.
