I received a call July 1st with a 10 second message saying call this number do not disregard this message Thank You; in a guy's voice. Not saying Mr./Mrs. So and so please give us a call. I call the number anyway, A lady came on said my name said I'm not filing my taxes right. She gave her name Sophia Jones and her employee Id# IRM56888 and gave me a reference number of F8555 and told me to use her employee Id when she transfer the call over and told me the call was being recorded through the courthouse. She was with the Criminal Investigator Department. Asked me How do I file? When was the last time I filed? I stopped her right there and told her I never received any information from Internal Revenue Service in the mail and hung up. I never gave any personal/private information to her.They didn't attempt to call back.
