The business claimed to be a Hobby Maine [censored] cat breeder selling 12-week old kittens. They provided very detailed information about their breeding practices, their background, the cats being bred and answered all of my questions promptly and appropriately. Their website also looked as if it could be a real business. They were asking $400 by either Apple pay or Google pay for a cat, which I did not do. They have my first and last name, but that is the only personally identifiable information that was provided.

Once I searched some of the information pertaining to the cats, I realized that it was directly copied and pasted from a UK Maine [censored] breeder. All customer testimonials were copied from the following site: https://www.rydalmaine-maine-[censored].co.uk/testimonials/

The parent cat referenced in the bloodline is copied from here: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/gallery/2009/apr/25/champion-fancy-cats - the cat is a champion cat in the UK.
