Crossborders Investments worked as the fake escrow agency in coordination with Ibex Inc., a bogus reality company in Illinois to convince us to sell our time share in Cancun for a very attractive price and sent us several seemingly legitimate legal documents, always claiming there would be no upfront costs and once we sold the time share, they would take their fees out of the funds we received. Then they said the Mexican government is no longer cooperating because of President Trump and we would now be required to apply for a 90 day license to sell real estate (our time share) in Mexico which costs $2750 to get the license and they would get us the license if we wired that amount to an attorney in Mexico who would process our license so we could get our funds from the time share sale. First we checked with an Illinois realtor wether Ibex Inc. has a license in Illinois and she confirmed that they did and there were no complaints against it. We then investigated both office addresses of Crossborder Investments Inc. in Los Angeles and Ibex Inc. in Illinois and google earth showed them to be vacant lots. They claimed that google earth was wrong and their offices were on the other side of the street. So we sent an acquaintance in Illinois to go to the Ibex Inc. real estate office address and it does not exist. We called the realtor, Alex Golden, and he said he was at that address right then, but when we said our friend wanted to find his office to meet him and was in the immediate area he said he would send us a photo and instructions on where the office was but we never heard from them again. Please investigate Ibex Inc. and its license (see link: https://ilesonline.idfpr.illinois.gov/DPR/Lookup/PrintLicenseDetails.aspx?cred=3...⇄ and Crossborder Investments Inc. as they are very convincing and extremely professional in their attempt to scam time share owners.
